Legalized Sex With Children?

I just published my most recent article on The Good Men Project e-magazine. As founder of Ark of Hope for Children mentors and I spend countless hours working with children sexually victimized by an increasingly perverted adult society. Recently we partnered with Ring the Alarm, a Dutch organization running a global petition against the unbanning of an organization called Martinj who promotes legalizing sex with children.

Boy Age 11 Fathers Baby with 36-year-old Woman

Ark of Hope needed to share this news story about a boy, age 11 who fathered a baby. The bigger problem is that the female he impregnated was with a 36 year old friend of his mothers in New Zealand! Under New Zealand Law, rape is only applicable when males forces sex, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years. Females who force their unwilling partners to have sex are charged only with sexual violation.

I know the psychological damage caused by rape of a male child or teen from victims I help but it seems obvious too many people don’t understand that yet. As founder of Ark of Hope for Children I want to know YOUR thoughts.

Is It #ChildAbuse? Is it rape?

Please read the original article and comment.

On Beyond Abuse Radio; Justice for Survivors, Part 3 host Misa Leonessa Garavaglia and Blair Corbett, founder of Ark of Hope for Children discuss statutes of limitations for child abuse cases. SOL’s can be a useful tool for other crimes but we feel they are unfair and destructive when related to child abuse offenses. Recorded on BlogTalk Radio on May 25, 2013 it is embedded below.

For This We Have No Words

thumb GirlinTheWindowArk of Hope for Children helps abused and neglected children, hoping to bring them to light, hope and fullness. For this amount of neglect I have no words. Please comment once you read the full story.

"Her caseworker determined that she had never been to school, never seen a doctor. She didn't know how to hold a doll, didn't understand peek-a-boo. "Due to the severe neglect," a doctor would write, "the child will be disabled for the rest of her life.""

"The authorities had discovered the rarest and most pitiable of creatures: a feral child.
